Ascend™ Flight Information Solutions, originally known as Air Routing International was founded by Rudy Fabre, Tom Balousek, and Richard Wilkens, in 1978. The founders developed a network of agents in markets throughout the world, with a base concept that has been instrumental in creating the international trip support services industry.
We guide corporate flight planners and pilots through the challenges of domestic and international air travel, providing services that range from international permits and route planning to weather reports and refueling.
Our philosophy, dating back to the 1970s, is to develop and maintain long-term business relationships around the world and equally provide a level of service and technology innovations to operators that is unparalleled in the aviation industry.
Our technical platform Ascend™ Flight Manager is the cornerstone of our client interface and was originally introduced in 1998 and has become the premiere online aviation web application for corporate aviation. Ascend™ Flight Manager, in tandem with our expert staff, is used by flight departments to obtain current flight details on their planned trip.
